FAQs

Have a spa-related question? We have the answer. Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information!

  • Do I have to make an appointment?

We do recommend that you make an appointment ahead of time so you can get your preferred day and/or time! We do also accept walk-ins. However, there's no guarantee that we'll have the availability for the specific service you're looking for. You can always call ahead to check if you're thinking about coming in same day!

  • Do I need to bring anything or wear anything specific?

You should always wear something you're comfortable in when you come to the spa! Especially if you're getting a massage or using our steam room—you're going to want to wear clothes that are easy to get on and off. As far as things to bring, cash is a good thing to keep on hand if you're planning on leaving a cash tip.

  • Is the relaxation massage or deep tissue better?

It all depends on your personal needs! If it's going to be your first massage or you don't feel like you need firm pressure, our Relaxation Massage is going to be better for you. If you're constantly feeling sore, have tight muslces, or have large knots in several places, our Deep Tissue Massage is going to be your best bet.

  • Do you accept SpaFinder/SpaWeek gift cards?

Yes, we do! However, these specific gift cards cannot be used for packages, gratuity, or with other discounts. Make sure you've activated your gift card prior to coming in to save time!

  • What are your hours?

We are open Tuesday-Thursday from 10am-7pm and Friday-Saturday 9am-8pm (as of Jan 9, 2024)! We're also closed on certain holidays and you can find our holiday hours on our website and social media closer to that time of year.

  • Is it safe for me to visit while pregnant?

Pregnancy would definitely need to be noted when filling out intake paperwork but there are still plenty of services that you can enjoy even while pregnant! Our prenatal massage is a popular choice! However, you must be past your first trimester to receive one.

  • How early should I arrive to my appointment?

Typically, we like you to arrive 5-10 minutes early to your appointment to make sure you have time to use the restroom and/or fill out intake paperwork before you get started!

*If you fill out online paperwork prior to your arrival, then you will not have to fill out more paperwork upon arrival.

  • Do you do acrylic nails?

No, we do not. We do offer other high-quality nail services such as dipped powder, gel-x, and liquid gel nails which can all be done with nail extensions.

  • Do you charge for polish removal?

We do not charge for polish removal as long as you are getting polish back on during your service or you got your polish put on at our spa. Otherwise, it's an extra $15 to remove gel polish or other nail enhancements. Regular polish removal is always complimentary.

  • Why do I need to have my card on file to make an appointment?

Per our cancellation policy, we require a 48-hour notice when cancelling, rescheduling, or making significant changes to your appointment. The first time you do any of these within the 48-hour window, you will get a waiver. The second time will be a $15 charge. The third time, you will be charged the full price of the service(s). Having a card on file ensures we are protected against frequent no-shows or last-minute cancellations. You will not be charged without being notified first.

  • When do you run specials?

We usually run specials during holidays throughout the year. Our biggest specials occur during the winter holiday season and Mother's Day.

  • Why do I need to fill out intake paperwork and how often do I need to fill it out?

We have all of our clients fill out intake paperwork their first time with us because you never know what kind of contraindications could keep you from receiving a service. Legally, we need every client's paperwork updated every 6 months. We value your health and safety here at Renewal!

  • How much is normal to leave for gratuity? Do I have to do cash or can I leave it on card?

The normal rate for gratuity is in between 15%-25%. Gratuity can be left in cash or on card.
